Born with a strong New England work ethic, Steve has been a tireless advocate of the power of design and branding for over 25 years. He has traditional marketing and advertising experience, yet his focus lies in creating design collaboratives that lead to interactive experiences in digital, social and consumer environments. Steve’s portfolio showcases a range of exceptionally well-crafted campaigns for national brands in both digital and traditional media, and he has earned multiple awards for his broadcast and brand identity work.
From Discover Card to HBO, State Street and TD Bank to Maidenform, Puma, Welch’s and Sam’s Club, Steve has been the driving force behind a multitude of brand campaigns. He has also created and defined the brand standards for many companies, including the tip-to-toe rebrand of Florida’s Sweetbay Supermarkets — An opportunity that saw him not only spearhead the advertising, web, print, packaging, and business systems but also affect the exterior/interior architecture and brand application throughout the 200+ stores.
Over the years, Steve has collected the requisite number of industry accolades and paperweights, not to mention that his work was featured in the Rockport Publishers book Color Graphics, a highly regarded showcase of design work that uses color as a message vehicle. Steve received his B.F.A. from the Maine College of Art (formerly the Portland School of Art).
Away from the office, Steve is an avid cyclist that has not only conquered Mt. Washington in an Olympic time, but has also travelled to the mountains of Italy, Spain and Costa Rica for winter training. He is also the proud father of two fantastic teenagers and a collector of obscure 70’s pop culture merchandise.

The above images are from a recent trip to Gran Canaria, Spain, where I recently had the pleasure of cycling 400 miles (and climbing 65,773 feet) of glorious mountain passes.
